Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations | Sloka the School Manikonda

As per Hindu mythology, Krishna, the human incarnation of Vishnu, was born on this day to destroy Mathura’s demon King Kamsa. On this auspicious occasion, all his devotees celebrate the festival by observing a fast and praying to Krishna.

Even in our school, we have memorably celebrated this auspicious day. Bhagavadgita sloka intra-school competition was conducted within the campus. Where all the students rendered the slokas in a mesmerizing way.

The event began with the welcome address by organiser Mrs Jyothi Gomatam and was followed by a beautiful rendition of a devotional song by Mrs Hima Bindu.

The chief guest of the event, Mr Venkat Reddy, director of the school addressed all the children & teachers and educated them about Krishna & Bhagavadgita.
