Sloka the school celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm, by stressing on the theme of the year “Yoga for Humanity”. Celebrations started with Morning Assembly, followed by Suryanamaskaras, various asanas, and formations along with omkaara chanting by the students was really pleasant and eye fetching. Students, teaching and non-teaching staff attended the event. Mrs. Prarthana Thakur, the principal of the school enlightened the gathering by stating that Yoga helps a person progress physically, mentally and spiritually as well.
